05.26.05 work is never really done.... [13 Jun 2005|07:15pm]

So while we were on our last tour we studied our new record inside and out. We came to the conclusion that we could do many things to make this album better and have spent numerouse extra hours in the studio doing so. This has pushed everything back reguarding the release of this record quite a bit. We even decided to approach the artwork a little differently as well. Everything we first thought about this record has changed and then changed again. It's keeping us on our toes. We also appologise to those of you looking to see us on tour with Haste The Day. We had to clancel those dates due to all of our changes on the album. So out of all of this we are looking at a finer release. We are very dedicated to what we do and we don't want to put out anything less than what we know we are capable of doing.

thats kinda depressing.

01.06.05 new cd stuff [08 Jan 2005|07:02pm]

Jan 1 we spent our day recording. We did 9 tracks live. We wanted to get a feel for the new stuff and be able to send the lovely people at Facedown something to tide them over till we get the CD done. Our actual recording date is Jan 25. It will take us about 2 months to finish the CD. The new CD is entitled "The Years To Come".
After listening to these tracks recorded, we are even more excited about the new CD. It is definately our most aggressive to date.
"The Years To Come" will have 9 songs, 2 instrumentals, and an intro. Some of the current song titles include: Dolores, Predisposed, What Goes Around, Heartbreaks & Decimalpoints
Thanx again for all the support.

I GOTS DA NEWS!! [25 Dec 2004|06:18pm]

12.23.04 nodes news
All 9 songs are finished for the new CD (yet to be titled). We are very happy with how the writing process went. On Jan 1 we start our pre-production recording for the new CD. Then Jan 25 we start actual recording of the new CD.
The new Facedown Fest DVD is out in many Hot Topic store. So if you have not seen it yet, go out and pick it up. You will be surprised at the quality. Definately one of the best sounding and visually good looking concert DVDs out there right now. The packaging is also amazing. Jason went above and beyond with this release. Thanx to all of you who are patiently waiting for the new CD. We promise you won't be disappointed. We can't wait for it to come out, so we can start touring again and see all of our friends across the US.

11.3.04 dvd info and much thanks [25 Nov 2004|07:36pm]

Thanx to everyone that came out to the Halloween show this last Sunday. We had a blast plus we got to play 3 of our news songs to a live audience.
The new CD is falling together perfectly. I think some of these songs are our best to date. We should be in the studio Dec/Jan. We will keep you posted and thank you to all that have sent us email. We appreciate it so much.
Shameless merch shout out here: Remember to go to Hot Topic on and after Nov 26 to get the new FaceDown Fest DVD which features 3 our our songs on it. The Facedown Fest DVD this year is light years better than last years. Jason spent a ton of money on getting the best sound and visual quality possible. You will not be disappointed. It will not be available for mail order till Jan, so if you can't wait, go to your local Hot Topic.
Thanx again everyone.

10.17.04 cd update and halloween show [02 Nov 2004|10:36pm]

We have been working hard writing material for the new CD. Right now we have 4 finished songs and a ton of parts to others. We are extremely happy with how it has been going. The writing process is a little different this time. It has become more of a group effort, so we have all been getting to put a lot of input into the new material.

We are playing this Halloween in our hometown of Sioux Falls at the Washington Pavilion Shulte room with Devilinside and The Blinding Light. So those of you that can make it, please do. We love it when everyone comes out.

9.08.04 back home
We just finished up our West Coast tour with Caliban, Scars Of Tomorrow and Reflux. It was an amazing tour and we had a lot of fun. It was hard to say goodbye to the Germans (Caliban). Thanx to all of you that came to any of the shows. We could not do it without your support. Now that we are back from tour, we will be finishing up the writing for the new
CD. We plan on recording it in Dec but there is nothing set in stone at the moment.

Check out the new MP3 we put up. It is a live version of a brand new song we have been showcasing on the last couple tours called "What goes around". This song was recorded off the sound board in Hebron, OH on June 25 2004 on our tour with Glass Casket. The studio version of this song will be on our new CD.

i'm listening to it at the moment.

8.1.04 tour and recording [02 Aug 2004|08:36pm]

We are currently on tour with Caliban, Scars Of Tomorrow, I Killed The Prom Queen, and Reflux. Check our tour section for dates. So far the tour is great and the bands are amazing. We do have some new merch with us on this tour: New t-shirts, DVDs, and limited edition colored LP.

Once we get back from this tour we will be taking time off from touring to finish writing the new CD. We tentatively will record it in Dec for an April release on Facedown Records. Once the new CD is out, we will be back out on the road coming to a town near you. Thanx to all that come to our shows and support us. We appreciate it more than
you know.

check our the new site!

Hey, Im Stephanie.
I've liked Nodes for a while.. about two years or so. I just recently got their new CD though. I was kinda scared about buying it because i heard it was not as great as the first CD. And while it doesnt compare to LSMI, it is definately a good CD.

Im just way sad i never caught them with their original singer, how their new singer is awesome and really nice.
I just always wanted to hear the original singer sing that song.. 'I love you adam!' he seemed to have so much emotion in his voice.
I was wondering if anyone knew if he moved on to another project? I dont remember why he left/got kicked out[?] of the band.
